Villaviacosa Dragoons

One of the Spanish regiments of heavy cavalry at the time of Napoleon's early campaigns in the Peninsular. 

 
Just the first of several units of Napoleonics I have coming up.  These are Perry Miniatures French Dragoons with bicorne heads from Trent Miniatures.

    Nice work - yellow is difficult but you pulled it off nicely.. love that horse sculpt to the right of the grey..

      Thanks Steve. As ever, yellow is a challenge. I did anot undercoat of yellow, followed by two base coats. I followed this with a weak orange glaze then three drybrush layers of increasingly pale yellow. It still looks patchy up close to my critical eye.
